Class 1 are also working on the Greeks as part of our whole school topic. They have been studying ‘Pandora’s Box’. Jack wrote some wonderful speech in speech bubbles showing that he understood how Pandora felt in the story. Well done Jack!

First class 2 studied Greek myths, then they wrote playscripts of their own.  Mercedes and Ivan wrote wonderful scripts which they practised and performed in groups. Their plays were well written using all the correct features of a playscript and the acting was very convincing with clear and expressive voices and actions used.  Well done everyone!

Class 2 have been working on Greek myths. the girls produced a fantastic piece of drama about Icarus.  Their voices were clear and used expression and their acting further added to their play.  Well done girls.

Harry noticed a rainbow on the floor. He looked around him, went to find Mrs Radd and said “there was some light travelling through the window, on to some metal, on to the radiator making a rainbow on the floor.” Great science Harry, well done.

Ella came to show me that she had been working on finding two numbers which when added together or taken away from each other made 24. Ella had managed to find at least 20 possible solutions! Well done Ella, brilliant maths.

Well done Lily. You have worked hard in every lesson today and achieved all your work. Keep up this excellent attitude, I’m very proud of you.

Class 2 have been writing their own acrostic poems about themselves. The boys described themselves using some great adjectives: Kyle is a keen young learner everyday; Louie likes bikes and Jamie used some wonderful alliteration – moving magically everywhere!  Well done boys!

Ben wrote a part of the Christmas story all by himself.  He sounded out words that he was unsure of and could read his work back to me.  Well done Ben – great work!

Well done Stirling what a wonderful acrostic poem. I enjoyed reading some of your great words to describe yourself. I liked how you called yourself trendy, but I’m not sure that I agree that you are never good! Fantastic work!

Jack came to share his amazing scrapbook with me which had photographs, pictures and writing about ‘Learning to grow’. Jack could read all his work to me and tell me all about what was happening in each photograph.  Well done Jack!
